MG Gouf Space-type WIP 6

Here's an overall view of the Gouf as it is now.

I cut the mesh chain in equal lengths, and mounted it to the mock-up backpack.

I slide magnets inside each end of the hollow chain, and matching magnets into the tubes where it mounts to the kit.

Here's how I replicated the rear ankle thruster cowling on the left leg. I used a piece from the right leg to mark out where to cut the left side.

After the upper pieces were cut, I used the cowl to mark where to cut the lower piece.

Here's the cowl sticky-tacked to the leg, and the pieces I cut off.

The cowl was then adhered with epoxy putty.

The two legs on the kit after a second round of putty and some sanding. I still have some more sanding to do to smooth out the new areas, and another round of putty to go.

This piece that mounts the Gatling ammo drum and the trigger handle had massive hollow areas visible on the back of the kit, so I dropped a few pieces of scrap pla-plate in the holes, and filled the top with epoxy putty. Once it's painted it will look like on solid piece.
